Polarising filters provide colour and contrast enhancement. Reflected light often shows up as whitish glare that washes out colour in an image. A Polariser corrects this problem producing deep, dramatically blue skies. It also removes glare from non-metallic surfaces, such as windows and water. Colour saturation in general, especially outdoors, can be improved significantly. A Circular Polariser should be used on cameras with beam splitting metering systems commonly found on auto focus SLR's.

The B+W 58mm 0.9/8x (103) Neutral Density Filter reduces the light intensity by three f-stops (log density 0.9) but still features very good colour neutrality. This ND filter is especially appropriate for use on video cameras when the lens cannot be stopped down sufficiently in great brightness or when a deliberately low depth of field is desired. It can also be used creatively for long exposure photography.
The B+W 77mm MRC Circular Polariser Filter increases colour saturation and reduces reflections. Circular polarizing filters are made for all cameras with beam splitters in the light paths of their TTL exposure meter and with autofocus lenses. Circular polarization has the same pictorial effect as linear polarization, but allows for proper exposure metering and/or autofocus distance settings.
The B+W UV-Haze XS-PRO Digital Filter blocks the invisible UV component of light from the sky, which can cause blur and to which many colour films react with a blue cast. UV Filters are ideal for photography in high altitudes, by the sea and in regions with very clean air. Photographs gain brilliance and blue casts are avoided. Because the glass is colourless, colour rendition is not altered and no increase in exposure is required. That makes a UV Filter suitable for protection of the lens against dust, flying sand, sea water spray and the like, and it can be kept on the lens at all times. It is recommended for analogue colour and black-and-white as well as digital photography.
This Kood 77mm UV Protector Glass Filter will help protect your lens from dust, moisture and scratches, which can lead to costly repairs. This filter provides additional benefits of correction for Ultraviolet(UV) light which can register as a bluish cast and can obscure distant details. If desired this filter can be left on the lens at all times for protection.
This ultra-thin circular polarising filter is designed to provide unobtrusive stay-on protection for your front lens element and to help cut down on reflected glare from metallic surfaces, glass, water, etc.
