Other features of this Gitzo head are its fantastically smooth rotation, positive locking and rapid camera mounting.

The Benro B3 Triple Action Ball Head with PU60 quick release plate uses magnesium alloy components to ensure smooth and secure operation. The B series heads feature separate manual drag and lock controls, a standard universal quick release camera mounting plate system, together with an independent smooth panning control and positive locking. The B3 can handle weights up to 18kg and is ideal for Benro's 3 and 4 series tripods.
Although weighing in at only 680g, the precision engineered Arca Swiss Monoball Z1 SP (Single Pan) with Quickset Classic can support a load of up to 60kg. The single knob Quickset operation makes locating and secure setting of the plate (which is available separately) quick and easy. Please note: the safety-stop feature of the Wimberley plates do not work with the new "double decker" Arca Swiss quick release clamps on the Z1 head. The Wimberley plates can still be used, but users must ensure that the clamp itself is sufficiently tight as the safety pins in the end of the Wimberley plate will not prevent it from slipping out.
